Recognition for Insurance Industry Leaders, Innovators
The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame was established at Olivet College in 1994 as a way to pay tribute to individuals who have made a significant impact on the abiltiy of the Michigan insurance and risk management industry to serve the public.
The Insurance Hall of Fame represents leaders and/or innovators who have made significant contributions in five areas: product/service development, education, recruiting new participants, legislative and regulatory activity and exemplary service in the Michigan Insurance industry.
In addition, the Hall of Fame awards scholarships to future insurance leaders to pursue insurance degrees.

THREE INSURANCE INDUSTRY LEADERS INDUCTED TO
MICHIGAN INSURANCE HALL OF FAME
The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame honored three outstanding insurance industry leaders, legends, and innovators at the nextannual induction ceremony held in August, 2021.
Mary LaPorte, career insurance educator, Wendy Loveless, insurance educator, mentor and community volunteer, and Roger Stoor, former president of the Lud Stoor Agency and active insurance educator, are the newest Hall of Fame honorees.

An election panel, representing a cross-section of the insurance and risk management business, identifies leaders and/or innovators who have made significant contributions in five areas: product/service development, education, recruiting new participants, legislative and regulatory activity, and exemplary service.
